1909 Moorehead Investigation Photos

This collection of photos documents the people, illnesses, and living conditions on the White Earth Indian Reservation in 1909. The photos were taken during an investigation lead by Warren K. Moorehead, a commissioner for the Bureau of Indian Affairs with the Department of Interior, into the dispossession and injustices that followed the implementation of the Dawe's Act.
